Chiao Tung University, Yuanpei University of Medical Technology, and Shulintou Park Stations have opened, Mayor Lin Chih-chien stated, YouBikes in Hsinchu City have been used for more than 800,000 times in one year, demonstrating the public's need for green transportation, 15 additional stations are predicted to be rolled out this year providing a convenient method of transportation.
 
Mayor Lin stated Hsinchu City YouBikes introduced 30 stations, reaching a goal of stations in all governance districts and all train stations installed with YouBikes; it received great response and affirmations from the public, with a high usage from young people. He believes the station number 31, Chiao Tung University will create convenience for the nearby residents and students.
 
The Mayor pointed out, YouBike is an important transportation that allows the public to "reach the last mile", the City Government will launch 15 new stations, upon the completion of 45 stations, there will be a station every 800-1000 meters on average, providing a faster and more convenient mean of transportation, furthermore allowing the tourists to explore the City's alleys and historic buildings, re-meet Hsinchu City.
